One look throughout the house or many?
Oftentimes we'll do a particular look or motif that runs pretty much through the house.Which when it comes to custom wall finishes usually makes it easier on the eyes.
But every now and then we get a very creative client who wants to separate out rooms and give them a very unique look by itself, making it a special room. It's always a trick when you have standard textured drywall with an orangepeel or knockdown pattern, and then try to create something in a plaster that won't look completely disassociated. The trick is coming up with something that
is special and will stand out without looking obscene. This is where manipulating both color and texture comes in, so it is harmonious. This ain't science kids, it's art. Using lots of color is fun, and we try to work with our clients to push it - the key is doing lots of samples and tests
