It Starts With a Sample

The most important step in creating a wall finish for a client is the sample making step.

Through the initial consultation the client is shown numerous samples and photos of work to get an idea of their preferences in color and look. Then the fun begins.

Back at the workshop (like a mad scientist) sample boards are created using the clients preferred colors and textures.  Next, the sample boards are shown to the client for feedback. We recommend the client places the boards in the space the finish will be done in to get a feel of how it will look, including different times of the day when the lighting is different.

Based on that review, the color or texture is adjusted to make the perfect finish for the job. Once approved by the client, away we go!

Each sample has a recipe so we can duplicate the color and material in large amounts and proportions for the work spaces.

Like most artisans, we have quite an archive of past samples and finishes. There are many different looks created over the course of  time as tastes have changed, we have shown a few here.

Our task is to come up with that personalized sample, with your help, that will create the perfect finish for your home.
