Holiday project

This project was all around the holidays. We had to get the whole place finished up before a Christmas party.  

Our task was creating a plaster finish that looked like it was about 200 years old, cracked and falling off the wall. We were commissioned to carry the look all through the main entry, all the hallways and some of the rooms on the first floor.  Additionally, the client required a special red metallic finish for the dining room. 

Our task was creating a plaster finish that looked like it was about 200 years old, cracked and falling off the wall. We were asked to carry the look all through the main two story entry, all the hallways and some of the rooms on the first floor.

We used an aged ochre color and created the heavy cracking in the plaster by adding lime slag.

For the dining room, we just had to get clever. The client left it open for us to do our thing. 

The timing  was tight, and we literally finished cleaning up and walking out the back door a few hours before the big Christmas party.
