Back to the Beach - the Aria Condo Project

This is a follow up on the Aria project we detailed in a previous blog. As mentioned this was a very high end condominium project on 5 acres of beachfront property.

We finished out the lobbies in a Venetian Plaster. This was a bit tricky as the natural light was limited and the lighting in these spaces was quite subdued. A blue green color was used which goes well with the sandstone as well as the casual furniture and pictures.

The thing with Venetian plaster is that you can create a lot or a little amount of movement while applying it. When burnishing it, you can make this movement darker and more pronounced or very faint, depending on how much pressure you apply while burnishing, and how much shine you want to bring out.
