Wallpaper

We consider walls the key element in any design scheme in terms of a backdrop that creates the mood and feel of the space. Over the years we have seen and used many mediums, from paint to faux finishing to moving forward into sophisticated layers and  plasters (like Venetian, Marmorino, Tadelakt) and textures. One medium we haven't talked about is wallpaper. 

Wallpaper has a long history, but popularity started to wane some time back as newer finishes started being used. However in recent years,wallpaper has come roaring back, not only with lots of mainstream wall coverings, but new or re-imagined products such as reintroducing people to materials like grasscloth,  traditional artsy looking papers going back to the 1920’s, and some incredible custom hand painted and textured finishes on removable coverings.
