Using cool colors with contemporary finishes

Cool colors are in a word…cool. While many contemporary designs both here and in Europe are using lots of white and clean looks, there is a lot to be said for introducing some snap and pop by judiciously using grays, blues and even violets or purples into the scheme in the form of a custom wall finish. Pictures say it all, and here’s a few recent wall finishes from cool palettes that express this. The first one is a very subtle purple  - shows how just a little color can work. And believe it or not the second picture is a plaster wall finish too.Nice huh?
