Restraint

So, there are all those adages about getting dressed and taking one thing off, or classic taste is restraint, and so on. Look how these walls are done over in the Austin home featured in House Beautiful. This decorator didn't want "Faux", and wanted authenticity. I would bet there is wall board underneath those beautiful plaster walls, but that is the beauty of a veneer plaster finish - use modern construction techniques but still have a completely authentic look and feel.
